Stomp the Runway: Philadelphia’s Premier Fashion Gala Event, June 15 2012

Partake in live entertainment, light reception, networking with area professionals and fashion gurus   before witnessing a cosmopolitan fashion show that will take your breath away. Inspired by , and to celebrate the life of a  Philadelphia local published model, Vanessa “Ms. Banks” Watson, Rashad Corey Productions will take action against domestic abuse at the first annual Stomp The Runway on Friday, June 15, at TRUST – 249 Arch Street – from 6 to 10 p.m.

In a city of 1.5 million, where one in every three women between the ages of 18-24 are at high risk of being battered at least once in their life time, we must take action,” said Rashad Corey, owner of RCP. “At STR we will break the silence, increase awareness about the dangers of domestic abuse, promote and support life-saving services provided by Women Against Abuse currently at risk in State budget.”

STR promises to educate with style, as runway shows by top designers and models, live entertainment, exquisite hors d’oeuvres, glam bars and more will entertain the 400+ attendees expected including, but not limited to city and state government representatives, entertainment personalities, luxury lovers and domestic abuse advocates


*Women against abuse provides the only shelter in the city of Philadelphia for victims of domestic abuse. Since 2008, the organization has been challenged by budget cuts and forced to deny approximately 7,000 shelter requests. The numbers call for action and Corey invites the city to join him for a night of world-class entertainment and advocacy to support WAA efforts to service the Philadelphia community at risk.
