David Sloan (Democrat), a special adviser in O’Malley’s office of intergovernmental affairs, is one of many wonderful candidates who plans to run for a seat in the Maryland House of Delegates. With that said, Sloan’s platform is to raise awareness on education, economic development, health care and public safety for District 26 which represents part of Prince George’s County.
When it comes to David, he has extensive experience in the political field serving in senior roles in Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Governor Martin O’Malley, and President Barack Obama’s campaigns. Although his credentials, knowledge, and experience is stellar, he does stand out amongst the rest of his opponents. For starters, I can tell he really cares about the people in his community and he genuinely means to progress Maryland. I can also attest to Sloan’s character as a kind person since I’ve known him for a couple of years now. David is one of the nicest people i’ve ever met.
A great way to describe him is that he’s always happy, optimistic, and compassionate towards other people and I know he genuinely cares. In fact, you can see it in his actions, hear it in his voice and even sense it in his countenance.
It’s not everyday you get to meet someone in politics who genuinely cares about other people above their own welfare but I can attest Sloan is one-of-a-kind. It doesn’t matter if you are a Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or an Independent candidate/voter/or fan. All I can say is if you are in politics, and genuinely treat others with the respect by being a person of your word, then you deserve to be called: A Great Person with a Kind Heart.
A vote for David Sloan is a vote for positive change in PG County. Don’t believe me? Here’s a litany of reasons why you should vote for him.
